Merrill Ranch

Merrill Ridge is one of our newest ground-up builds, designed to reflect the balance between modern Northern Michigan living and timeless craftsmanship. Where there was once raw land, we created a home that maximizes both function and form, tailored to the lifestyle of today’s families while rooted in the natural beauty of its surroundings.

The home is a 2,500 sq. ft. ranch with a finished 1,700 sq. ft. lower level, giving nearly 4,200 sq. ft. of total living space. The design emphasizes open, livable flow while incorporating carefully crafted details — vaulted ceilings, expansive windows framing wooded views, and custom millwork that brings warmth and character throughout.

From the foundation up, our team managed every detail of the build. We coordinated site prep, concrete, framing, and mechanicals, while also self-performing finishing trades like flooring, trim, tile, and paint to ensure consistent quality. Energy-efficient systems and insulation were built into the home from the start, meeting today’s standards for performance and comfort.

Outdoor living was also a priority at Merrill Ridge. The home features covered porches, a walkout basement, and integrated landscaping that blends seamlessly into the wooded site, making the exterior spaces just as inviting as the interiors.
