The Ridge

The Ridge is our take on a luxury tiny home — 650 square feet of carefully designed space that lives far larger than its size. Set just minutes from Bellaire, Torch Lake, and Intermediate Lake, this cabin was built to showcase how thoughtful design and craftsmanship can turn a compact footprint into a truly remarkable retreat.

From the ground up, we approached The Ridge as an exercise in efficiency without compromise. The vaulted 20-foot ceiling immediately expands the interior, while custom millwork, a barnwood ceiling, and moody lighting create an intimate, high-end atmosphere. The layout includes a loft bedroom, a built-in bed on the main level, and an apartment-style kitchen with oven, induction cooktop, refrigerator, and dishwasher — every element selected to maximize both style and function.

Attention to detail is visible in every corner: a stone fireplace anchors the living area, heated floors run beneath the custom tile shower, and skylights were added to flood the loft with natural light. Despite its small size, The Ridge feels open, inviting, and carefully tailored to modern living.

We extended that experience outdoors with a 4-person hot tub, a firepit, and views into the surrounding woods. The cabin’s exterior lines and finishes were designed to sit naturally on the landscape, blending rustic character with modern simplicity.

The Ridge proves that a “tiny home” can deliver big on design, comfort, and experience. For us, it’s a showcase of what’s possible when every square foot is intentional and every detail matters.
